How to build your own graffiti wall – A guide step by step
HOW TO BUILD A WALL FOR GRAFFITI
WOODEN WALL
 You will need:
- Screws,
- 4 sheets of plywood 1224 × 2440 × 12 mm
- 3 poles around 3 m high (treated with a coat for outdoor use),
- 4 battens
- 2 bags of dry cement
→ Dig three holes, 45 cm deep with approximately 2,3 m between them from center to center and place the three poles in them.
→ Mix the dry cement and place it around each pole. Cover the last 5 cm with dirt on the top. Make sure the poles are in level when it’s drying. → Attach each batten to the three poles, starting from the bottom, with 60 cm between them in height.
→ Once the battens are up, you can now apply the plywood one at a time. Attach them to the poles 10 cm off the ground. This way, they won’t rot and will last longer.
→ Prime the wall a couple of times before painting your first piece, so it can absorb some paint.

STRETCH FILM WALL
You will need:
- Stretch film 200 m × 50 cm
- Tape
→ Find two poles with 2-6 m between them.
→ Wrap the film around the first pole so it adheres to itself.
→ Stretch the film around the two poles going from the top to bottom, only creating one layer, where each layer over-laps 5 cm.
→ When reaching the last turn, cut the film and fasten it with a piece of tape.
→ Paint the film and remember to take it down and throw it out responsibly once you leave.
